Class Description

Because September 7 is a holiday, we are adding a makeup class on September 20 at 10:30 a.m. Designed for both Level 2 and Intermediate dancers. During the first 45 to 50 minutes, we'll focus on strong Level 2 fundamentals, including technique, partner work, timing, and combinations. In the final 20 to 25 minutes, we'll build on the same material with more advanced variations and styling for dancers ready for the next challenge. Whether you're moving up from Level 1 or continuing your training, you'll progress at the pace that's right for you. You will refine footwork, timing, balance, and partner connection. Classes focus on smoother turns, clearer lead and follow, intro shines, and musical awareness. The goal is clean execution, not collecting moves. You should already know basic turns, cross body lead, and stay on time without thinking. This level prepares your body and mind for advance moves. No partner needed. Focus and consistency expected. No. Most students come on their own, and we rotate partners throughout the class. Couples or friends who prefer to stay together are welcome to do so. What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. What kind of shoes should I wear? Sneakers or dance shoes with smooth soles work best. Avoid shoes with thick, heavy rubber soles, as they make turning more difficult and place extra stress on your knees. I’ve never danced before. Is this class right for me? Yes. This series is designed specifically for complete beginners. What if I miss a class? We will share a video recap of the class so you can review what you missed. Important: Please make sure to read our cancellation policy before booking. Where do I park? Plenty of free parking is available behind the building. The studio also has a back-door entrance.
